About Us

Our Story

“For Page and Screen” began as a single-person blog run by writer/filmmaker Sarah Edmonds. We have since expanded to include a variety of voices from all different kinds of storytellers. Our goal is to explore the creative process. To find similarities and differences in how we tell stories across genre and form.

Recently, we have added our very own literature and film magazine to the mix so that we can help to showcase amazing work from storytellers around the world.

We hope you’ll join us and maybe share a good story or two!

Editor-In-Chief, Contributing Writer

Sarah Edmonds (she/they) is a writer and award-winning filmmaker from southeast Pennsylvania with multiple degrees in Creative Writing, Film, and English literature, composition, and rhetoric. When not chaotically filling plot holes, she can be found drawing comics or watching anime. Currently, she is working as a technical writer for an immigration advocacy law firm and as Co-Chair for the Communications Committee of the American Public Health Association’s International Health Section. A full portfolio of her creative work can be found here.

Editor, Contributing Writer

Maurice Hargrave (he/him) is a photographer and filmmaker, born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. When he’s not shooting, you’ll usually find him editing photos for hours on end or jumping in and out of various writing projects; often juggling both simultaneously. He also enjoys cooking, long walks, and staring off into space while listening to his genre-mashing Spotify playlists. You can find his work on Instagram!

Editor, Contributing Writer

Tori Bissonette (she/her) is a writer born and raised in a rural town in Vermont that most people haven’t heard of. Her fiction writing focuses on different forms of human connection and relationship, with a soft spot for the queer and unusual. Currently she works as a digital content editor for a lifestyle magazine and as a writing tutor. In her non-existent free time, she can usually be found reading anything and everything, cooking something chaotic, or getting lost while hiking. Catch up with her on Twitter!

In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching films/TV shows, hiking, cuddling with her beloved fur babies, and spending time with her family and friends.
